Prince George Looking to Bring in Palace

County Executive Rushern L. Baker III is rejecting the idea of bringing the casino to the raceway and instead feels that the hotel and convention center would be better because they would be getting tourists from all over the world who come to visit Washington. With the deal signed, expansion is on the way for the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe. The bill would allow them to censor what is on there, and would take away the rights of the many to give the government more control. There is nothing more frustrating than trying to get a bill passed in the legislature. The governmental politics that run the bill passage system in our country are such a mess that it is impossible to get anything accomplished. Even if both sides totally agree on an issue they won’t pass it unless it was their “side” that suggested it. This is what makes everything come to a standstill and gets very little accomplished. Look at the idea of online gaming. There was the idea of getting it legalized and regulated, and that little idea has been sitting there for how many years now? There were many that said that President Obama would get the UIGEA overturned – but we are almost finished with his first term and we are seemingly no closer to that happening than we were when he first came to office.
